Many American citizens fly out to the Bahamas to enjoy the sunbathing and the blue beaches. And many of them were surprised to hear that the Bahamas criminal threat level is very critical and seriously increasing, according to the Department of State.

In addition to this, the 2012 united nation report emphasized the previous idea saying that the Bahamas has one of the highest incidences of sexual assault in the Caribbean. Many incidences have been reported to the US Embassy by US visitors to the Bahamas in the downtown areas of Nassau.
