It has some serious issues like rape, robbery, kidnapping, and sexual assaults.
Trip.com’s advice for how to stay safe:
• Watch your bag, your phone, and all the valuables you carry with you when you take a bus. Sometimes, for example, the bus can be crowded and you they can easily rob your phone. For this reason, open your eyes.
• Always carry your toilet paper and hand antiseptic with you. The toilets might be filthy and catastrophic.
• You can only know about best neighborhoods from the locals. So, don’t hesitate to ask.
• Be extra cautious when you go out at night. You never know what to expect.
