Sudan has been struggling for long enough with violence. For the past two years, the government forces have been constantly attacking civilians, causing serious damage, according to Human Rights Watch.

Killing and rape have become a daily reality in addition to the destruction of property especially in Darfur, South Kordofan, and Blue Nile states. Civilians and independent media are not at liberty in their country, the authorities restrict them in every possible way.
The government suppressed even protests and demonstrations.

#5 – Afghanistan

Afghanistan, the least safe country in South Asia on GPI, the country is experiencing instability and insecurity. Attempts by groups of criminals to take over the power have worsened the state of the country.

Adding to that Taliban are targeting civilians and attacking them, creating terror and fear within people. Thousands of people are forced to leave their homes and move to safer areas around the country. The government failed to provide humanitarian assistance to these victims.

Although the trail doesn’t prove someone guilty, the death penalty will still be applied.
