North Korea, ruled by a dictator, the country seems to be stuck in the cold war. According to GPI’s annual report, it is the least peaceful country in Asia. As stated by the non-profit organization “Amnesty International” North Koreans are violated from every basic human right.

They are arrested for trivial reasons (using the internet, trying to escape from the country), they also suffer from lack of resources which makes them venerable.

In addition, North Koreans depend on China’s aid to stay alive. Those who have attempted fleeing the country are under systematic surveillance. Even foreigners are subject to these laws; many have been abducted and disappeared.

Pakistan, a failing economy with enough internal conflicts to deteriorate its stability; the country has a very low state of peace in GPI’s report. Attacks target civilians whether affiliated with the government or not. In Pakistan, not even health care workers are safe from these attacks.

Amnesty International says that execution started to be applied again after the Taliban-led attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar in December 2014, with a record of 300 executions last year.

Civilians disappear without anyone held accountable, who are later found with what seems like bullet wounds and torture marks. Women face violence and threats.
